Exposed Greenhouse

Materials: Aluminium, glass agar, tape

Dimension: 200x250x220 cm.

The work shows the glass panes of a greenhouse that have been taken over by green fungi. From a biological exposure of the fungal spores already in the room a visual display of a particular bacterial composition has become visual. Affected by those unseen conditions of the air inside the gallery the work is in direct relation to the exhibition space and that unique environment. The visual proof of a biologically contaminated air dissolves the distance between the art work and the person engaged in its visuality.
